The Truss Plant Production Manager oversees daily
manufacturing, fabrication, and yard operations. They are responsible for
driving safety standards, coordinating production schedules, managing direct
labor, and executing continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products are
delivered on time and within quality specifications.
The role requires a hands-on, strategic leader who bridges

Execution:
Planning and adjusting daily/weekly production schedules to
meet customer demand, capacity, and labor availability.

& Environment:
Leading daily safety activities, enforcing work
place organization and cultivating a safety-first culture across all
shifts.

Quality
Control:
Enforcing strict quality control programs, monitoring
workmanship, and preventing defects on incoming raw materials and finished
trusses.

Leadership:
Determining staffing requirements, managing shift leads,
and facilitating structured training and leadership development.

Improvement:
Utilizing lean manufacturing strategies to eliminate
non-value-added activities, streamline process flows, and reduce material
scrap.

Collaboration:
Partnering with Maintenance and Engineering to minimize
equipment downtime and coordinating with Supply Chain, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety departments.

Previous supervisory or
management experience in wood truss manufacturing or high-volume building
products.

Manufacturing principles, root cause analysis, and production key performance
