About this role
Dice is seeking Salesforce Solutions Consultants and Developers for an immediate start. The role involves hands-on configuration, prototyping, and coding to meet business requirements while collaborating with stakeholders and developers to ensure effective solutions are delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Actively participates in requirements workshops
- Creates user stories from requirements
- Reviews, clarify and prioritize user stories
- Meets with client stakeholders to understand as-is process
- Answers developer questions
- Works with developers to test that solution meets the business requirements
- Configures the solution
- Performs solution demos during sprints to client
- Identify and confirm technical design limitations
- Create unit test code coverage
- Designs small components of development work
- Develops custom code according to design specification
- Creates APIs and perform the build activities for the MuleSoft specifications
- Assists the technical architect with building and pushing deployment packages through Salesforce test environments
- Performs Unit testing
- Execute hands-on code promotion across DEV, UAT, STG, and PROD sandboxes by leveraging experience with Salesforce DX, scratch orgs, artifact versioning, scripting, and automated code/security checks
- Create/maintain a continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) strategy
- Manage source control
- Create/maintain DevOps Operating Guide
- Comfortable with making recommendations and enforcing DevOps best practices
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance Required
- Experience in Salesforce configurations and declarative programming
- Experience in all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle
- Ability to deliver work products in Salesforce analysis, design, system testing, implementation or support and maintenance in a system lifecycle
- Experience in creating user stories from requirements
- Ability to review, clarify and prioritize user stories
- Experience in meeting with client stakeholders to understand as-is process
- Ability to answer developer questions
- Experience in working with developers to test that solution meets the business requirements
- Experience in configuring the solution
- Experience in performing solution demos during sprints to client
- Ability to execute the coding and technical build of the solution
- Experience in creating custom applications, triggers, and automated processes
- Ability to translate technical specifications into functioning code
- Experience in participating in unit testing
- Ability to assist in the compilation of technical documentation
- Demonstrated expertise on the Salesforce platform
- Experience in writing code coverage
- Ability to own bug resolution for code related issues
- Experience in identifying and confirming technical design limitations
- Ability to create unit test code coverage
- Experience in designing small components of development work
- Ability to develop custom code according to design specification
- Experience in creating APIs and performing the build activities for the MuleSoft specifications

- Experience with Apex, Omniscript/Omnistudio, Developer toolsets, Developer 2 cert, LWC
- Solid understanding of CI/CD including the ability to design and implement pipelines for the Salesforce Platform
- Experience with GitHub Actions (workflows, runners, secrets, matrix builds); experience with CI pool orchestration
- Experience with SFDX artifact publishing, versioning, dependency resolution
- Experience with Git; trunk-based development; branch protection; code review workflows
- Experience with PMD for Apex; GitHub CodeQL or equivalent SAST tooling
- Experience with Bash/Shell; YAML pipeline authoring; familiarity with Node.js tooling
- Deep understanding of Salesforce metadata API, packaging, and deployment order management
- Experience with multi-org environment strategy; sandbox/scratch org lifecycle; org configuration governance
- Experience with secrets management, least-privilege service accounts, deployment audit trails
