Software Engineer II (Mid-Level)

InterFace builds integrations between Real Estate platforms that help Real Estate teams build a solid sales process. As a Mid-Level Developer, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications while collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Work with the development team to design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX designers and product managers, to deliver the best user experience
• Participate in code reviews to ensure a high standard of code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Leverage your problem-solving and debugging skills to address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues related to performance, security, and scalability
• Work on integrating APIs, libraries, and frameworks into the application
• Create and maintain technical documentation for your work, including architecture, design decisions, and coding standards
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies and contribute ideas for technology adoption or process improvements
• Contribute to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-up meetings

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of software development experience
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards
• Work with the development team to design and implement scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions
• Participate in code reviews to ensure a high standard of code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Leverage your problem-solving and debugging skills to address technical challenges and troubleshoot issues related to performance, security, and scalability
• Work on integrating APIs, libraries, and frameworks into the application
• Create and maintain technical documentation for your work, including architecture, design decisions, and coding standards
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies and contribute ideas for technology adoption or process improvements
• Contribute to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-up meetings
• Strong technical expertise in Python, React, NodeJS and relevant web development technologies
• Familiarity with REST API development and GraphQL, specifically with Apollo
• Understanding of Zapier, Third Party Integration, TypeScript and advanced JavaScript concepts
• Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines
• Exposure to AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, S3, and SQS
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
