We are seeking a senior-level Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer & Database Administrator to manage, migrate, and optimize mission-critical cloud and database infrastructure.

Role Breakdown

Position: Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer / DBA
Location: Richmond, VA (109 Governor St.)
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite (5 days a week)
Interview Process: Web Cam Interview Only
Shift: EST (Includes mandatory on-call rotation, after-hours, and weekend maintenance support)

Core Skills & Responsibilities

1. Database Architecture & Upgrades (Mandatory)

10+ years of hands-on Oracle Database experience, specifically with 19c and 26ai.
Proven experience executing database upgrades from 19c to 26ai.
10+ years of experience migrating databases from Solaris to Linux (11g/12c).
Deep expertise in CDB/PDB, PDB cloning, RMAN (backup/recovery), and Data Guard.
Database patching using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 24ai Fleet Management.

2. Cloud & Middleware Infrastructure

Strong hands-on experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and DBaaS.
7+ years administering Oracle WebLogic Server 12c/14 and Fusion Middleware.
5+ years of administration and support for Oracle APEX (v18+) and ORDS (v22+).

3. Automation & DevOps

Proficiency in Ansible scripting and GitLab / GitLab CI pipelines.
Strong Linux/Unix shell scripting skills (Python/JavaScript are a plus).

4. Cross-Platform & Support

Highly Desired: 5+ years of Windows Server, SQL Server, and IIS administration.
Ability to provide 24/7 production support, performance tuning, and disaster recovery execution.
