Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Architect with deep expertise in enterprise storage, data infrastructure, and Databricks integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and productizing enterprise-grade software solutions, with hands-on experience building connectors, storage integrations, and distributed systems for production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-grade storage and data platform integrations.
- Build and enhance high-performance connectors for modern data platforms.
- Productize software solutions from proof-of-concept through general availability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready software.
- Integrate enterprise storage platforms with Databricks, Delta Sharing, and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain Linux-based services, packaging, and deployment processes.
- Implement connector technologies using protocols such as JDBC, ODBC, and S3-compatible APIs.
- Contribute to architecture, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability initiatives.
- Work within secure development and intellectual property compliance guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience developing enterprise software products.
- Strong background in storage systems or data infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog.
- Knowledge of Delta Sharing architecture and implementation.
- Experience developing connectors, drivers, or protocol adapters.
- Strong Linux systems experience, including systemd and software packaging.
- Experience with distributed systems and production-scale architectures.
- Proficiency in one or more systems programming languages such as Java, Go, C++, or Python.
- Strong problem-solving and software architecture skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms.
- Knowledge of object storage and S3-compatible interfaces.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects.
- Familiarity with data lake and lakehouse technologies.
- Experience designing highly available and scalable distributed systems.
