Data Scientist / Palantir Data Engineer (1039)

Herdt Consulting is preparing to support a large-scale enterprise systems program for the U.S. Navy, delivering mission-critical ERP modernization and optimization services. The Data Scientist / Palantir Data Engineer will design and build analytics and data engineering solutions to support ERP+ migration, focusing on data profiling, anomaly detection, and migration quality metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop Foundry pipelines, analytics, and data engineering solutions specifically tailored for SAP migration
• Build robust data quality dashboards, reconciliation controls, and migration metrics. Develop scalable profiling, cleansing, matching, and anomaly detection capabilities
• Integrate SAP, Advana/Jupiter, Databricks, and other critical enterprise data sources to maintain data continuity
• Support process mining, AI/ML, automation, and data governance initiatives across the enterprise program
• Partner with migration, functional, and architecture teams to ensure seamless data delivery and system performance

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry or a similar enterprise-level data platform
• Strong SQL and Python skills, coupled with direct experience in ETL/data engineering and large-scale analytics
• Proven experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) ERP or SAP data environments
• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience working with Advana/Jupiter, Databricks, Spark/PySpark, or Process Mining tools (such as Celonis or Signavio)
