Senior Software Engineer

Refill is an all-in-one prescribing platform designed for med spas, telehealth companies, and growth-focused clinics. The Senior Software Engineer will work full time Remote, building and scaling core platform services that support high-volume prescribing workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing back-end systems
• APIs, and integrations with pharmacy and clinical partners
• Improving performance, reliability, and security across the stack
• Deeply understanding the product vision
• Executing on that vision
• Creating a beautiful design
• Meeting regulatory requirements into robust technical solutions

Requirements:

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Proficiency in Full-stack Web Development and Systems Design, with experience building scalable, secure web services
• Advanced Programming skills in modern languages (e.g., TypeScript, Java, Go, Python, or similar), with a focus on clean, maintainable code
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Vercel, or Azure), relational and/or NoSQL databases, and minor Dev Ops experience
• Ability to lead technical initiatives, handle a high amount of ambiguity, and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of experience
• Background in security, compliance, or regulated environments (healthcare, fintech, or similar) is highly beneficial
• Advanced degrees are a plus
