They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Department of Corrections Information Program and Records System (CIPRS), focusing on data migration, business process documentation, and translating requirements into technical designs.

Responsibilities:

• Support resource for data migration and conversion activities
• Documenting business processes and requirements around data conversion approaches
• Translate requirements into functional and technical designs, including implementing stories and process flows
• Recommend eliminating, retaining, or enhancing business processes and documenting those results

Requirements:

• Four (4) years experience in data migration, cleansing and conversion projects
• Three (3) years experience in data analysis using SQL queries to assist with the technical design effort, data cleansing effort and resolution of bugs/defects
• Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs
• Ability to create complex SQL queries
• Experience with Corrections processes
• Ability to understand complex business problems
• Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues
• Understanding of the underlying technical architecture and legacy systems
• Understanding of database platforms and database design
