WorkGenius Group is seeking a Software Engineer III who will be responsible for designing and maintaining tools that support art production and content creation workflows. The role involves collaborating with artists and designers to deliver scalable solutions and leading technical discussions to drive best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain tools and pipelines that support art production and content creation workflows
- Partner closely with artists, designers, and cross-functional development teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable tool solutions
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to the overall technical direction, standards, and architecture for the team
- Develop high-quality, maintainable code and drive best practices for software design and implementation
- Build and extend tools within Unreal Engine and integrate with digital content creation (DCC) applications such as Maya and Photoshop
Requirements:
- 6+ years of professional game development experience
- 3+ years of experience developing tools for cross-functional game development teams
- 3+ years of experience building tools and pipelines specifically for artists and content creators
- Professional experience developing tools in Unreal Engine 4 or Unreal Engine 5
- Experience creating tools or extensions for DCC applications such as Maya and Photoshop
