Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage Staff Augmentation activities across the National Airspace System in support of the FAA and the Parsons T5 Program. The role involves leading project planning, coordination, execution, and reporting to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff augmentation needs across FAA regions/sites throughout the National Airspace System
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution tracking, and closeout activities for assigned radar disposition efforts
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, site personnel, construction support, environmental, safety, quality, subcontractors, and FAA stakeholders
- Serve as a primary project interface with FAA customers and internal program leadership on readiness, execution status, risks, issues, and corrective actions
- Support development and maintenance of project management plans, schedules, site execution plans, quality documentation, safety documentation, and project deliverables
- Track project scope, cost, schedule, staffing, risks, dependencies, and performance against established requirements
- Coordinate site access, field readiness, logistics, removal/disposition planning, documentation, and stakeholder communications
- Chair project meetings, document action items, prepare status reports, and brief progress, risks, and pending issues to Program Management
- Monitor subcontractor and team performance to ensure work is completed in accordance with FAA safety, security, quality, environmental, and operational requirements
- Anticipate project challenges and work with FAA stakeholders, subcontractors, field teams, and Program Management to develop and implement corrective actions
- Support pricing, planning, and negotiation of changes to scope, schedule, or execution approach as needed
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables, documentation, invoicing support, and closeout materials
- Maintain strong working relationships with FAA customers, subcontractors, site stakeholders, and internal Parsons teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, project management, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of related project management experience
- Experience managing technical, infrastructure, construction, installation, site preparation, logistics, or field execution projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and project documentation
- Experience preparing professional written communications, project reports, briefings, and formal presentations using PowerPoint or equivalent tools
- Ability to interface effectively with government customers, subcontractors, field teams, and senior program leadership
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%
- Must be able to meet customer security requirements. A background check by federal authorities will be completed
- Experience supporting FAA, aviation, transportation, defense, or other mission-critical infrastructure programs
- Experience with radar, surveillance, communications, automation, terminal, or NAS infrastructure projects
- Experience with equipment removal, disposition, demobilization, logistics coordination, asset tracking, or site closeout
- Familiarity with FAA operating environments, field sites, safety requirements, security requirements, and stakeholder coordination
- Experience managing geographically dispersed projects across multiple regions or sites
- Experience working with subcontractors, field crews, engineering teams, and government agencies
- PMP, PgMP, CMAA, or similar project management certification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of quality assurance, safety planning, environmental coordination, and project controls processes
