About this role
Dice is seeking a Data Platform Infrastructure Engineer skilled in AWS/Google Cloud Platform/AliCloud and Kubernetes. The role involves building and maintaining the infrastructure for a data platform while ensuring system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the infrastructure powering our data platform
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale systems
- Develop tools and dashboards for monitoring and management
- Collaborate with engineering teams within our organization and stakeholders to build, test, and maintain robust data platforms
Requirements:
- 8+ YOE, with 5+ years of experience working with large-scale infrastructure systems and cloud environments
- Hands-on experience in AWS/Google Cloud Platform/AliCloud and knowledge of its ecosystem
- Experience in scaling and operating Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills are a must; experience working with customers directly to explain how they would use the infrastructure to build solutions that meet their business goals
- Proven ability to work in an agile environment, flexible to adapt to changes
- Programming experience in Golang, Python, and bash scripting
- Fast learner with experience in IaC fundamentals and monitoring solutions
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or AliCloud (Must require 1, in addition to AWS)
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters (RBAC / Security, etc)
- Experience developing, deploying, and managing services on Kubernetes clusters via Helm charts, Kustomize, etc
- Advanced Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane)
- Experience with automation for infrastructure management
- Experience with Kubernetes advanced features (Operators, OPA Policies, Webhooks, etc)
- Experience with Kubernetes networking ecosystem (Cillium, ALB, NLB, Envoy, Nginx ingress, Certificate managers, etc)
- Programming experience in Golang, experience building RESTful web services
- Advanced experience with using AI for coding
- Experience developing Temporal workflows
- UI development experience
