Ensemble Health Partners is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems. The Epic Product Manager will focus on understanding business problems and identifying scalable Epic-based solutions, shaping Epic strategy and standards, and working closely with various teams to ensure high-performing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an expert in Epic functionality, current capabilities, and future roadmap
- Set strategy for Epic upgrades, enhancements, and feature adoption
- Evaluate Epic functionality for applicability and value
- Spend significant time with Operations to understand workflows, challenges, and successes
- Translate business needs into Epic standards and adoption strategies
- Lead discovery to understand underlying problems before defining solutions
- Apply creative problem‑solving and solution‑oriented thinking
- Form clear, prescriptive recommendations with rationale and tradeoffs
- Lead requirements and scoping across Ops, Epic, Innovation, Product, and Data initiatives
- Inform Epic SOMs based on functionality and best practices
- Own development and maintenance of Epic playbooks
- Identify integration needs and opportunities, translating operational requirements into scalable Epic‑aligned integration approaches, including third-party systems
- Educate and partner across Epic Services on Epic standards and functionality
- Partner closely with Partnership Success to support consistent messaging to clients
- Participate in Epic RevCyclers and lead workgroups as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of Epic experience in healthcare operations or an IT environment
- Epic certification(s) in Patient Access, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, or HIM
- Deep Epic functional expertise
- Strong executive‑ready communication skills
- Creative, solution‑oriented problem‑solving mindset
- Experience in product management, solution design, or operational strategy
