About this role
ProDev is looking for US-based Sr. DevOps Engineers! This role will be focused on helping our clients to design, implement, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Helping our clients to design, implement, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure
- Work with development teams to build, test and deploy changes to new and existing software platforms
Requirements:
- Experience delivering Infrastructure as Code and automation/orchestration of OS and applications
- Automation experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Resource Manager, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar
- Must be able to write Terraform modules and plans independently
- Well versed in architecting solutions for single and multi-account AWS organizations
- Familiarity with container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, etc.)
- Experience with basic networking principles and technologies
- Experience with configuration management. Specifically Ansible, but other tools such as Puppet and Chef are also applicable
- Strong troubleshooting skills - you're comfortable diving into the logs to debug and resolve issues, especially across services
- Enjoy working remotely
- Happy working as a freelance contractor
- Ability to work on your own with minimal supervision
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Strong communicator - being 100% remote, excellent communication is critical for what we do
- Ability to decompose complex processes into understandable components
- Proficiency in automating and optimizing processes
- You love to ship - you're focused on delivering value and you are biased towards action
- Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Experience with integrating infrastructure as a result of acquisitions and mergers
- Azure and/or GCP experience
