Software Engineer in Test (SET / SDET)

The Giant Bullseye is seeking an experienced SDET to design and implement automated testing solutions across various layers. This role involves collaborating with engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery through robust testing frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java or Python
• Build UI automation suites using Selenium/WebDriver
• Create and execute API automation using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools
• Partner with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Participate in test planning, test case design, and defect analysis
• Ensure quality coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
• Contribute to improving automation strategy, tooling, and best practices
• Support cloud-based testing environments and basic cloud validation workflows

Requirements:

• 5–8+ years of experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer
• Strong coding skills in Java or Python
• Proven experience with Selenium/WebDriver for UI automation
• Hands-on experience with API automation (Postman, RestAssured, or similar)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines — GitHub, Jenkins, or similar tools
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of cloud concepts and cloud testing basics (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)
