Fyld is a Portuguese consulting company that believes in building the future with people, technology, and strong values. They are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to innovate, collaborate, and grow within a team focused on creating scalable solutions using major public cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Significant experience with the three major public cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Familiarity with key services in each cloud, including compute, storage, networking, databases, security, data analytics, AI, and ML
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Google Cloud Deployment Manager
- Ability to write and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates for efficient, scalable cloud provisioning
- Proficiency in container technologies such as Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications in cloud environments
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools: AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Monitoring, Stackdriver
- Ability to configure and customize metrics, alerts, and dashboards to ensure availability and performance
- Experience managing security policies, access control, data encryption, and compliance in public cloud environments
- Ability to automate operational tasks and deployment processes using scripts, CLI tools, and APIs
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers, developers, system administrators)
- Fluency in English
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field
