Full-stack Data Engineer (Remote)

Chord Strategy is focused on helping organizations design effective strategies collaboratively. As a Full-stack Data Engineer, you will be responsible for enhancing ETL processes and extracting investment data from various sources to support the company's analytical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Help design, improve and maintain our ETL processes
• Find reliable and efficient ways to extract data on what companies are investing in from both public and private sources
• Reliably and efficiently scrape and pull data from hundreds of websites and APIs
• Assess better datasets available to evaluate what a company’s investing in
• Improve data features used by our machine learning algorithm
• Determine structure and format for loading data for analysis
• Create reports and visuals that best communicate insights
• Ensure data accuracy and timeliness

Requirements:

• Experience with ETL processes
• Ability to extract data from public and private sources
• Experience with data scraping from websites and APIs
• Knowledge of datasets for assessing company investments
• Ability to improve data features for machine learning algorithms
• Experience in structuring and formatting data for analysis
• Ability to create insightful reports and visualizations
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity
• Strong communication skills to work with leadership
