Cloud Network Security Engineer (Remote)

TM Floyd & Company is seeking a Cloud Network Security Engineer for a remote role. The successful candidate will design and implement secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures, ensuring robust security measures and compliance within AWS and Azure environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures (AWS, Azure)
• Architect VPC/VNet segmentation, routing, and connectivity (hub-and-spoke, transit VPC/VNet)
• Integrate on-prem networks with cloud environments using VPN, Direct Connect, or ExpressRoute
• Define network standards, reference architectures, and security guardrails
• Design and maintain secure ingress/egress controls and east-west traffic inspection
• Implement network segmentation, microsegmentation, and zero-trust principles

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in information security and engineering
• Experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS/Azure
• Cloud security design, operations, and automation experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Documentation of security tools, deployment configuration, and incident reports
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Must hold AWS or Azure certification
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining Cloud VM series Palo Alto firewalls in AWS and Azure
• Experience with: Palo Alto Firewalls
• Experience with: F5 Load Balancing/Firewall
• Experience with: InfoBlox
• Experience with: Forescout
• Experience with: Prisma Cloud
