About this role
Mango Inc. is a new type of microscope company focused on rapid bioburden testing. They are seeking a Computational Imaging Engineer to take technical ownership of their optical systems and imaging pipeline, collaborating across multiple teams to develop innovative imaging solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve Mango’s imaging stack, including imaging hardware and computational reconstruction
- Develop and deploy CNN-based models for image enhancement, reconstruction, and classification
- Collaborate with software, microbiology, and hardware teams to design imaging workflows that support experimental needs
- Design, prototype, and validate custom imaging systems suited to our platform (including lensless imaging)
- Guide decisions on image quality, signal processing, and hardware/software co-design
- Establish best practices for reproducibility, quality control, and calibration in imaging
