We are looking for Buyer 3 for our client in Secaucus, NJ.

Job Overview:
Pay Range: $40.55hr - $42.80hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of direct purchasing experience.
- Requires knowledge of purchasing systems and procedures.
- Word processing and spreadsheet skills highly desirable.
- Electronic component experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Requires experience buying small component parts, hard drives and cables.
- Needs familiarity with the standard distribution suppliers.
- MRP experience preferred. Knowledge of a PO system (no specific one required).
- Ensures timely order placement of product or service requirements from pre-selected sources of supply.
- Issues releases against pre-established blanket purchase orders.
- Provides follow-up information on delivery schedule status.
- Prepares and maintains reports and files.
- Provides general assistance to Buyers and Section Managers in routine purchasing activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
