Social Media & Market Research Intern (LinkedIn & Instagram)

Acadium is a company focused on providing accessible career coaching and mentorship. They are looking for a motivated Social Media & Market Research Intern to assist in digital marketing tasks, specifically on LinkedIn and Instagram, while gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Research industry trends, competitors, and audience insights to identify content opportunities and support marketing strategies
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content for LinkedIn and Instagram
• Manage LinkedIn engagement by commenting on relevant posts, interacting with target audiences, and helping grow brand visibility
• Edit short-form video content (Reels, LinkedIn videos, and clips) optimized for social media engagement
• Design simple, professional graphics using Canva (or similar tools) for social posts and promotional content
• Monitor social media performance and recommend ways to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth
• Support personal branding initiatives by helping maintain a consistent voice and visual identity across platforms

Requirements:

• Based on the US East Coast (preferred)
• Strong written communication skills with attention to detail
• Comfortable using LinkedIn and Instagram for professional marketing
• Experience creating or editing short-form videos for social media
• Familiarity with Canva or other graphic design tools
• Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
• Passionate about social media, content creation, and learning modern marketing strategies
• Interest or experience in career coaching, recruiting, HR, or service-based businesses is a plus
