Outbound Sales Development Representative

Instrumentl is a profitable, hypergrowth, YC-backed SaaS platform building the operating system for grant-funded organizations. They are seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to build and own their cold outbound motion, identifying and reaching out to nonprofits and universities that could benefit from their services.

Responsibilities:

• Drive top-of-funnel volume through cold calls, emails, and follow-through, with a target of 400+ dials per week
• Research and identify high-potential nonprofits and universities that could benefit from Instrumentl but aren't yet in our pipeline
• Partner with Account Executives to build and work targeted account lists
• Book a consistent volume of qualified demos each week by leading with curiosity and customer empathy
• Track account and decision-maker details in our CRM to set the sales team up to close
• Surface insights and blockers from prospect conversations to sharpen our pitch and inform the broader team

Requirements:

• You have spent at least one (1) year selling, or 3+ years in another industry and want to get into sales
• You are comfortable in fast-paced environments, and you bring a dose of humility and a sense of humor to work every day
• You welcome feedback, champion new ideas, and encourage others to do likewise
• You're curious and are constantly ‘getting to the bottom of things'
• You have a bias towards action
• You don't mind rolling up your sleeves and doing hard work
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
