CBIZ, Inc. is a leading professional services advisor to middle-market businesses nationwide, specializing in accounting, tax, advisory, benefits, insurance, and technology. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to engage qualified leads, collaborate with Account Executives, and support the sales team in establishing CBIZ as a market leader in AI-driven professional services.
Responsibilities:
- Work within a defined territory to engage qualified leads through outbound communication (email, phone and social) to initiate conversation and schedule meetings for the sales team
- Leverage all accessible tools, resources, and support to meet and exceed all KPI's and quotas
- Collaborate with Account Executives on selling strategies and account plans
- Utilize knowledge of CBIZ services to define entry point into prospective accounts
- Research and gather information about target accounts in support of building out account plans and prospect database
- Ensure all customer facing activity is documented in Salesforce.com to provide the business with market data as well as pipeline growth
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
- Related college degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably sales
