Linktree is a company focused on empowering individuals to curate and monetize their digital presence. They are seeking a Data Analyst to join their Business Analytics team, where the role involves analyzing data to inform product decisions and collaborating with various teams to provide actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with a Product squad as the embedded analyst — sizing opportunities, instrumenting launches, evaluating experiments, and making sure the team's decisions are grounded in the actual data
- Own end-to-end analyses: framing the question with a stakeholder, writing the SQL, modelling the data, building the visualisation, and delivering a recommendation people can act on
- Build and maintain the dashboards and self-serve tooling (Hex / Amplitude / similar that your stakeholders use weekly — and evolve them as the business evolves
- Define and document key product and business metrics in partnership with the Analytics Engineering team, so "what does activation mean?" has one canonical answer across Linktree
- Translate complex findings into plain-language recommendations for non-technical audiences — PMs, marketers, and leaders — through written memos, dashboards, and the occasional well-crafted slide
- Be a daily user of (and advocate for) good data hygiene: clear metric definitions, reproducible queries, and version-controlled analyses
Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience as a data, business, or product analyst in a fast-moving consumer or B2B product environment
- SQL-fluent — comfortable with joins, window functions, CTEs, and modelling event-level data into something a stakeholder can actually use
- Worked with a modern data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and a BI/visualisation tool (Looker, Mode, Tableau, or similar)
- Can take an ambiguous business question, scope it, and deliver a recommendation — not just a chart
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a track record of working closely with non-technical stakeholders
- Thrive in environments with autonomy and ambiguity, and motivated by your work showing up in real product decisions
- Can work from one of our SF, LA, Sydney, or Melbourne offices on a hybrid schedule, or fully remote within the listed regions
- Bonus points for working knowledge of Python (pandas) or dbt
