They are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I responsible for developing and supporting the execution of test plans and ensuring the end product meets quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Execute Test Plans
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards
- Test system modifications to prepare for implementation
- Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks
- Create or maintain databases of known test defects
- Use software testing programs
- Collaborate with other QA members, Teams, BA or PO to evaluate or diagnose problems and recommend possible solutions
Requirements:
- Ability to create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases
- Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications
- Clear communicator (written and verbal) to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases
- To communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
- Creative solving of technical problems to ensure the ability translate technical requirements test plans
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables ensures the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly
- Ability to think abstract to ensure ability to not conform to the norm
- Eager to learn and grow
