Sr. Principal Digital Engineer- MBSE

SAIC is a premier mission integrator focused on advancing technology and innovation for national security. They are seeking an experienced MBSE Sr. Principal Digital Engineer to lead the development and execution of digital engineering solutions, focusing on model-based systems engineering and system-of-systems capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of digital engineering and MBSE solutions for complex military systems and missions
• Build and optimize digital models for requirements capture and analysis using MBSE techniques, SysML, and tools like Cameo/MagicDraw or Rhapsody
• Design and model system-of-systems (SoS) architectures, understanding structured expressions and capturing complex interactions and ensuring technical coherence
• Promote and implement systems/digital engineering best practices to improve mission outcomes, enhance stakeholder collaboration, and enable advanced simulations and analyses
• Apply Mission Engineering principles to design and evaluate solutions aligned with operational scenarios and mission objectives
• Represent technical work in working groups, exchange meetings, and executive briefings to communicate progress, insights, and innovative concepts
• Mentor engineering teams on MBSE standards and methods, fostering proficiency across projects
• Oversee systems engineering processes throughout the lifecycle, including architecture, requirements, CONOPS, interface control, and verification
• As required, support business development through proposal generation, customer engagement, and crafting innovative solutions tailored to mission challenges
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry advancements, and tools to integrate innovative practices into digital engineering methodologies
