Cloud Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer

Staffworxs is a company that powers transformation through its Digital & Data Analytics practice. They are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Operations (SecOps) Engineer to monitor and respond to security incidents in cloud environments, implement security services, and collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance security measures.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents across AWS and Azure environments
• Implement and manage cloud-native security services such as:
• AWS: GuardDuty, Security Hub, Macie, CloudTrail, IAM, Config
• Azure: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Security Center, Azure Policy
• Perform threat hunting and vulnerability assessments in cloud environments
• Automate security operations tasks using scripts and tools (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
• Manage and enforce cloud security policies and best practices
• Maintain and tune SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, etc.) and SOAR tools
• Participate in incident response planning, tabletop exercises, and postmortem reviews
• Ensure compliance with standards
• Provide guidance on secure cloud architecture and remediation strategies

Requirements:

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Familiarity with cloud-native and third-party security tools
• Strong understanding of IAM, networking, logging, and encryption in cloud
• Experience with incident response, forensic analysis, and threat intelligence
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR systems
