Workspire is partnering with a well-established provider of recreational, playground, and outdoor environment solutions to identify a Project Manager who will manage projects from initial client conversation through installation and completion. This highly client-facing role combines project management with consultative sales, requiring the Project Manager to work closely with various stakeholders to develop recreation solutions aligned with project needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients throughout the assigned territory
- Identify new project opportunities through outreach, referrals, industry relationships, and ongoing market activity
- Consult with clients on playgrounds, shade structures, site furnishings, outdoor fitness equipment, and other recreational products
- Manage projects from initial discovery and product selection through proposals, ordering, installation, and final completion
- Prepare project estimates, proposals, presentations, and product recommendations
- Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, installers, contractors, architects, and internal team members
- Maintain accurate project schedules, budgets, documentation, and client communication
- Review project plans, specifications, site conditions, and installation requirements
- Proactively resolve project challenges while maintaining a positive client experience
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, trade shows, and community functions
Requirements:
- Experience in project management, outside sales, construction, recreation, playground equipment, landscape architecture, site development, or a related industry
- Demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and generate new business
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects and deadlines
- Confidence communicating with contractors, architects, municipalities, school districts, and other project stakeholders
- Ability to interpret plans, specifications, measurements, and project requirements
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from beginning to end
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
