Terzo is an AI-native enterprise data platform company focused on transforming complex data into actionable intelligence. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the delivery of their AI Intelligence Platform and core product experiences, ensuring the platform's foundation and architecture support critical enterprise intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement core services spanning platform APIs, data models, and application layers
- Build and evolve the Terzo commercial graph, including entities, relationships, metrics, and signals
- Own platform foundations supporting analytics, workflows, AI agents, and marketplace experiences
- Develop scalable backend systems supporting high-volume, multi-source enterprise data
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and AI partners to deliver cohesive AI platform capabilities
- Establish engineering standards and frameworks around reliability, performance, security, and maintainability
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
- 5+ years of experience designing and building backend systems or developer platforms in distributed, cloud-native environments
- Experience building or scaling data platforms, backend systems, or core infrastructure
- Experience designing APIs for critical services processing highly sensitive data
- Solid understanding of relational and non-relational data stores, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Strong backend development experience in Go or Python
- High ownership mentality with comfort making architectural decisions
- Strong product intuition paired with disciplined engineering judgment
- Comfort operating in environments with evolving requirements and incomplete information
- Clear communication skills across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Experience building AI-driven or machine learning-enabled platforms
- Prior work on B2B SaaS, enterprise data platforms, or financial systems
- Experience operating production systems on AWS, Azure
- Exposure to distributed systems, workflow engines, or streaming technologies
