Junior Environmental Engineer

Ambitus is an applied AI product and research company that partners with domain experts and enterprises to advance frontier AI capabilities. They are seeking experienced environmental engineers, water resources engineers, and stormwater modelers for paid remote contract work that is project-based and fully asynchronous.

Responsibilities:

• Stormwater/flood modeling
• Water resources
• Air quality modeling
• Noise studies

Requirements:

• You have 1+ years of professional experience in a relevant role (freelance, agency, or in-house)
• You have deep hands-on fluency with the professional software of your field
• You can clearly explain your work: what you make, how you make it, and how you judge quality
• Experience with any of the following is preferred: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, AERMOD, MODFLOW, BioWin, GPS-X, SoundPLAN, or CadnaA
