Senior Data Engineer

EITACIES Inc. is seeking experienced Data Engineers to support a large-scale Oracle to Snowflake migration initiative. The role involves dbt development, data transformation, pipeline validation, and Snowflake optimization, requiring strong collaboration across onsite and offshore teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain dbt models
• Perform Oracle to Snowflake data transformation
• Validate data using row count & checksum methods
• Monitor ETL pipelines and ensure data accuracy
• Optimize SQL for Snowflake performance
• Design Snowflake architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
• Define dbt standards, macros and CI/CD practices
• Lead UAT and stakeholder coordination
• Handle critical migration issues and production cutover
• Manage offshore delivery teams

Requirements:

• Strong experience in dbt and Snowflake
• Advanced SQL skills
• Experience with Oracle to Snowflake migration
• Data validation and testing expertise
• Experience with Git, VS Code and CI/CD practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
• AWS Data Engineering (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions)
• Data Lake / ELT pipeline experience
