Stackable is an innovative German software company developing a modern open-source data platform. The Technical Solutions Engineer will help customers succeed with the Stackable Data Platform by bridging pre-sales, technical account management, and professional services, while also engaging with the community and representing Stackable at events.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute PoCs for or with customers, deliver demos (0–2/week), address technical questions, and collaborate with sales to drive adoption. Help customers optimize their solution architecture. Support deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Build trusted relationships with customers, ensuring their success with the Stackable Data Platform
- Work with Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), technology ecosystem partners, and system integrators (SIs) to integrate Stackable into their offerings and empower them as trusted implementation and delivery partners
- Build and nurture relationships with developers, data professionals, and open-source communities to foster collaboration and advocacy. Engage with our open-source community on GitHub, Discord or Reddit)
- Be the passionate voice of our Stackable Data Platform, driving awareness, adoption, and community engagement. You will represent Stackable at industry events, deliver compelling presentations, and create thought-leading content to showcase the power and potential of our open-source data platform
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with data platforms, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems
- Experience with data streaming or data lakehouse solution architectures and how to implement them using the data applications of the Stackable Data Platform, in particular Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, OpenSearch, Apache Airflow, Trino and Apache Superset
- Strong communication and technical account management skills
- Passion for open source, customer success, and partner enablement
- Willingness to travel: While this role is remote-first, occasional travel (approximately once per month) to visit customers, partners, or attend industry events is expected
