Hiring: Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Tech Lead | Remote* - W2 Only

Vertraus, Inc. is seeking a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer / Tech Lead to lead a major enterprise Snowflake migration and modernization initiative. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting scalable data pipelines while optimizing Snowflake performance and collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration from a shared Snowflake environment to a dedicated enterprise Snowflake platform
• Design, develop, and support scalable data pipelines using Informatica IDMC/IICS, DBT, Python, and AWS
• Optimize Snowflake performance, security, and scalability
• Support ongoing platform maintenance and enhancements
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies such as Snowflake Cortex AI and Openflow
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, and leadership to provide technical guidance and project updates
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while driving engineering best practices

Requirements:

• 8–10+ years of Data Engineering / Informatica experience
• Snowflake Administration (SnowPro Certification highly preferred)
• Informatica IDMC / IICS (Required)
• DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Python
• UNIX / Linux Administration & Shell Scripting
• AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, DMS)
• Strong ETL & Data Pipeline Development
• Snowflake Cortex AI
• Openflow Integration
