Red River is a company that seeks a Project Manager to independently manage medium-complexity customer projects throughout the full project lifecycle. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects throughout the full project lifecycle from intake through closeout
- Review project documentation including Statements of Work, LOEs, purchase orders, and customer requirements
- Build and maintain project schedules and execution plans within approved project management systems
- Lead internal kickoff meetings, customer kickoff meetings, execution planning meetings, and project status meetings
- Coordinate customers, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution
- Manage scheduling activities, project milestones, and execution timelines
- Track project labor utilization, budget performance, and schedule health
- Coordinate project invoicing milestones and financial tracking activities
- Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies while driving mitigation plans
- Manage standard scope changes and change order coordination
- Maintain project documentation repositories and ensure documentation compliance
- Coordinate project closeout activities and customer acceptance processes
- Escalate high-risk issues when necessary
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across PMO operations
- Other business duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of project management experience or related experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, project management, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience managing customer-facing projects
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
- PMP certification preferred but not required
- Proficient with SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and ProjectManager.com
