About this role
Accelint is part of Lyntris, a defense technology company focused on connecting sensing to action across the battlespace. They are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer (Level II) to enhance modernization efforts for the US Navy by building and integrating microservices with automation tools.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines teams rely on
- Automate infrastructure so environments are predictable and supportable
- Support containerized platforms in secure, regulated environments
- Work directly with software and cyber engineers to solve delivery problems
- Adjust to different program needs, priorities, and technical stacks
Requirements:
- Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one
- CompTIA Security+ Certification or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of hire
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Containerization (e.g., Docker, Podman, Buildah)
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Container Orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm)
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, AWS Code Build)
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Linux systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related field
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud computing infrastructure or development (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Demonstrated experience with Atlassian suite tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
