About this role
Ambitus is an applied AI product and research company that partners with domain experts and enterprises to advance frontier AI capabilities. They are seeking experienced environmental engineers, water resources engineers, and stormwater modelers for project-based, fully remote contract work.
Responsibilities:
- Model natural systems and write the reports
- Stormwater/flood modeling
- Water resources
- Air quality modeling
- Noise studies
Requirements:
- 1+ years of professional experience in a relevant role (freelance, agency, or in-house)
- Deep hands-on fluency with the professional software of your field
- Ability to clearly explain your work: what you make, how you make it, and how you judge quality
- Experience with any of the following is preferred: HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, EPA SWMM, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, AERMOD, MODFLOW, BioWin, GPS-X, SoundPLAN, or CadnaA
