First Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced Hogan System Analyst to lead and drive business process transformation initiatives. This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational business system support for the core banking team, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that align with strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying Requirements - Work closely with business and technology teams to define project scope and objectives. Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis. Schedule and facilitate portfolio review, requirements review, design review, and project status meetings with stakeholders, management, project, and technical teams. Develop and maintain meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and issues and action item logs
- Collaboration - Schedule and facilitate portfolio review, requirements review, design review, and project status meetings with stakeholders, management, project, and technical teams. Develop and maintain meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and issues and action item logs. Maintain excellent working relationships with internal business and technology partners, management, and vendors
- Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output
- System Support - Provides daily technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units. Create, execute, and manage development test plans and scripts and provide user acceptance and quality assurance test support
- Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, discrepancies, and areas of improvement
- Documentation - Elicit, develop, and manage business and functional requirements documents, which includes performing gap analysis, developing process flows and screen and report prototypes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
- OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
- 2+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a strong focus on Mainframe
- Hogan Deposits experience or similar Core banking applications from Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry or Systematic. Experience with related applications, e.g. CIS/RPM also preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with ALM, Jira, SharePoint, SQL Queries
