Senior Project Manager

National Restaurant Association is a dynamic organization dedicated to advancing the restaurant industry through strategic leadership, advocacy, and innovation. As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee operational management, develop strategic initiatives, and foster collaboration across diverse teams to support member success and drive business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team projects across Agile and traditional environments
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables aligned to business objectives
• Drive execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Manage backlogs and track delivery metrics using Azure DevOps (ADO)
• Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Serve as the central point of communication for project status, risks, and outcomes
• Mentor team members and promote strong execution practices

Requirements:

• Proven management experience with a strong background in operational oversight within a complex organization
• Demonstrated success in strategic planning and execution at an executive level
• Extensive experience in financial management, including budgeting and budgetary control
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with executives and industry leaders
• Strong project management skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
• Business development experience with a track record of building partnerships and driving organizational growth
• Leadership qualities that inspire teams, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Ability to analyze data for strategic decision making and operational enhancements
• Experience managing large teams at an executive level with a focus on team development and leadership excellence
