About this role
Mobomo is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Engineer who can operate independently and contribute to backend development and infrastructure efforts. This role involves executing on undefined requirements and proactively solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test new backend features
- Maintain and improve infrastructure for a cloud-based Kubernetes application
- Enhance and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Support integration of scientific software and algorithms into production systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend software development experience
- Strong experience with Kubernetes deployment and administration
- Linux systems administration experience
- Experience working with Docker containers
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field
- Must be located within the DMV area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
- Must be able to obtain a US government clearance
- Available for periodic in-person meetings at a Washington, DC office
- PostgreSQL, SQL, PostGIS
- Golang and Python programming
