Occulytics Inc. is building innovative solutions in the senior living industry by transforming fragmented data into actionable insights. They are seeking a Solutions Engineer with a strong software engineering foundation and hands-on AI experience to develop AI-enabled tools and data platforms, focusing on building scalable solutions that automate processes and enhance decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy production software that solves real business problems, from AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows to the data platforms that support them
- Partner with the MD of Data and AI to design and implement scalable technical solutions that can be reused across clients
- Build AI-enabled applications and end-to-end solutions that connect data sources, business logic, AI capabilities, and user experiences to automate processes and solve real business problems
- Integrate solutions with APIs, enterprise applications, and operational workflows
- Build production-grade applications and services, bringing data and AI capabilities into real-world workflows
- Develop and improve LLM-powered applications using modern AI frameworks and APIs
- Design AI applications that connect models with enterprise data and business context through retrieval, tool use, and agentic workflows
- Implement evaluation approaches, logging, and monitoring to measure AI performance and improve system reliability
- Apply responsible AI practices including data access controls, PII minimization, and auditability
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines and models that turn operational data into trusted, analytics-ready datasets
- Build the data foundations required for AI solutions, including retrieval pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure production reliability
- Create reusable components, frameworks, and documentation that accelerate future client delivery
- Develop repeatable approaches for common data integration, AI, and automation challenges
- Contribute to evolving best practices around data engineering and AI delivery
