Oddball is a company that values learning and growth while aiming to improve the daily lives of millions through quality software in the federal space. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a federal program that enhances the Medicare experience for Americans, focusing on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing AWS infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines including automated scanning, testing, and deployment workflows
- Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform with emphasis on reusable modules and secure configuration baselines
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure including EKS, ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, RDS Aurora PostgreSQL, and Secrets Manager
- Work with Kubernetes and containerized environments including Argo Workflows
- Support enterprise adoption of AI engineering platforms including Amazon Bedrock, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, and Cursor
- Partner with DevOps, Architecture, and Development teams to implement reliable, scalable infrastructure patterns
- Build internal tooling to support development and operational workflows
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with AWS and core cloud infrastructure management
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and environment management
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Thrives in a remote, collaborative Agile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
- Communicates clearly and openly, whether documenting infrastructure decisions or coordinating with engineering teams
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with Argo Workflows is a plus
