SwimOutlet.com is one of the largest online specialty retailers for swimming and aquatics in North America. They are seeking an Enterprise Sales Manager to develop and close large, high-value accounts across the commercial and institutional aquatics space.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full enterprise sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close — for large commercial and institutional accounts
- Build a targeted pipeline across priority segments: water parks and aquatic attractions, lifeguard/beach-patrol and rescue organizations, fitness and health-club chains, municipalities and parks & rec departments, colleges/universities, and multi-site swim schools
- Land and expand key accounts, turning initial orders into program-level agreements, seasonal reorders, and multi-location rollouts
- Negotiate pricing, volume tiers, and contract terms that win the business while protecting margin
- Serve as the strategic point of contact for enterprise clients, understanding their operational needs (staffing cycles, safety requirements, seasonal demand) and matching them to the right product programs
- Partner internally with merchandising and vendors on assortment, bulk availability, and custom/branded gear; with operations on fulfillment timelines; and with customer service on account support
- Represent SwimOutlet at trade shows and industry events (e.g., aquatics, parks & rec, and fitness industry gatherings) to generate leads and build the brand
- Forecast accurately and maintain clean, up-to-date records in the CRM, reporting on pipeline, wins, and account health
- Hit and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and account-growth targets
Requirements:
- Experience selling to one or more of our target segments: aquatics/recreation, hospitality and resorts, fitness/health clubs, municipal or parks & rec, education, or safety/rescue equipment
- Familiarity with the swim, aquatics, or sporting-goods industry and its seasonal buying patterns
- Experience selling programs, uniforms/team gear, or equipment at volume (vs. single transactions)
- History of building an enterprise book of business from an early or ground-floor stage
- 4+ years of B2B or enterprise sales experience with a track record of closing large, multi-stakeholder deals
- Demonstrated success owning a full sales cycle and consistently meeting or beating quota
- Strong negotiation and consultative-selling skills; comfortable talking pricing, volume, and contracts
- Self-directed and disciplined — you can run your own pipeline and manage your time in a remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication; polished and credible in front of senior buyers
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and standard sales/productivity software
- Willingness to travel ~20–30% for client meetings, site visits, and events
