Principal Platform Software Engineer

Oracle is a leading enterprise software company focused on cloud solutions and generative AI technologies. The Principal Platform Software Engineer will lead the software architecture and development of the Oracle Generative AI Agent Platform, ensuring high-scale and resilient services in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Own software architecture and development of Oracle Generative AI Agent Platform Service
• Build and operate cloud services maximizing state-of-the-art generative AI technologies
• Design and build innovative new systems to power customers' business-critical applications
• Provide technical leadership to the organization
• Recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with data-driven approaches

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience with application development
• Proficient at programming in Java, and one other major programming/scripting language like Python or Go. Terraform knowledge is a bonus
• Strong background in AI/ML, with a focus on generative AI and AI-driven code generation
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to deliver quality code
• Experience with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
• 7+ years of experience, with some of that being as a technical lead
• Prior production experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their tools or services
• Master's degree in Computer Science
• Experience with Generative AI technologies
