Equitable is a company focused on helping clients secure their financial well-being. They are seeking a Digital Product Management Director to lead the strategy and delivery of digital experiences that enhance financial planning and client engagement across their digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of client-facing digital experiences—including mobile applications and web platforms—that bring financial planning and wellness to life, ensuring intuitive, high-quality client journeys across the full advisor and client lifecycle
- Own the end-to-end client experience, translating client needs, expectations, and business strategy into scalable, mobile-first solutions that deliver on client promises and support financial planning, financial health, and long-term well-being
- Drive AI and data integration across the platform, embedding intelligent, personalized capabilities and connected data flows that anticipate client needs, elevate engagement, and enable advisors to deliver proactive, tailored advice
- Leverage metrics, analytics, and client insights to drive outcomes, defining and tracking KPIs (engagement, adoption, satisfaction, retention) to measure experience quality, validate that client expectations are met, and continuously optimize the roadmap
- Apply deep industry knowledge and competitive intelligence, benchmarking against leading wealth management and fintech peers to inform product strategy, partner selection, and roadmap prioritization, ensuring our client experience reflects best-in-class standards
- Manage in-house teams and third-party suppliers, overseeing mobile and platform integrations, feature delivery, and operational execution to ensure solutions are reliable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards and client commitments
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Product management experience marked by progressively increasing responsibilities and continuous career advancement
- Proven success in team leadership and people management
- Product Management experience within the financial services, investment or wealth management industries
- Strong financial literacy and planning competency, with the ability to synthesize information, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Demonstrated expertise in technology, digital platforms, and emerging AI‑enabled tools, particularly how they can enhance productivity, advisor effectiveness, and client experiences
- Prior direct experience partnering with Cyber, Fraud, Privacy, Marketing and Sales to deliver high traffic solutions across public and authenticated domains
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross‑functional teams
- An organized, detail‑oriented mindset, capable of managing multiple workstreams, supporting execution against deadlines, and contributing to readiness initiatives
- Curiosity and a learning‑oriented approach, with a willingness to ask questions, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve workflows, processes, and standard operating procedures
- CFP, advanced planning designations, or sales experience, a plus
- Key understanding of Client and Advisor Journeys across lifecycle and memorable moments
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate data, processes, and tools to identify insights, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear documentation of findings and effective collaboration with functional stakeholders
- Technical and digital fluency, including comfort with core productivity tools and the ability to quickly learn new systems, platforms, and AI‑enabled technologies
- Program coordination and execution skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage details, and support multiple initiatives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
