About this role
aeSolutions is a consulting, engineering and systems integration company specializing in industrial process safety and automation. They are seeking an experienced Process Safety professional to serve as a Facilitator for PHA/LOPA studies and to provide oversight and support on various process safety projects.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Facilitator for PHA/LOPA studies
- Involved in complex PSM projects as an Auditor or Lead Assessor on Facility Siting projects
- Provide oversight to junior-level staff
- Support proposal development
- Provide QA/QC on deliverables
- Serve as Technical Lead on projects with multiple diverse team members
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Process Safety related to PHA/LOPA methodology, PSM/RMP program development and auditing, consequence modeling, and/or facility siting
- The willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time; Valid driver's license required
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision
- A passion for making our clients, our worksites, and our world a safer place
- The ability to work well in both team-based and independent situations
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with a knack for thinking creatively
- Formal training in PHA and/or LOPA desired
- Experience in PHA, consequence modeling, and/or QRA software desired
