Analyst II, Full Stack

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. As a Senior Analyst, you will own the entire analytical lifecycle, leveraging advanced data analytics to optimize business strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and market trends.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize End-to-End Strategy: Leverage advanced data analytics to independently derive insights, develop, and optimize business, risk, or growth strategies across products and geographies
• Manage Macro & Market Trends: Monitor portfolio performance and exogenous macroeconomic trends; proactively adjust analytical and operational strategies to mitigate risk and balance growth
• Model & Capability Building: Partner deeply with Engineering and ML teams to design, build, and interpret performance metrics for scalable risk, fraud, or growth models
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to interpret evolving regulatory and market requirements, translating them directly into analytical policy and product design recommendations
• Oversee Frameworks & Launches: Oversee the development and execution of analytical frameworks. Drive cross-functional discussions to ensure new product launches and market entries align with risk appetite, operational capabilities, and local regulations
• External & Strategic Alignment: Engage with external stakeholders including merchants, vendors, and partners to align practices, ensure compliance, and strengthen strategic relationships
• AI Leverage & Mentorship: Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows that compound across the team's analyses, while mentoring junior analysts on technical craft and domain nuances
