Principal Environmental Engineer

Integral Consulting Inc. is a science and engineering firm focused on delivering technical solutions in health, environmental, and natural resource arenas. They are seeking a Principal Environmental Engineer who will lead complex remediation projects, mentor staff, and develop client relationships while ensuring technical excellence and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Serving as principal-in-charge for complex soil, groundwater remediation projects and drinking water projects
• Serving as a consulting and/or testifying expert on complex litigation matters
• Advising clients on technical risk, regulatory strategy, and remediation approaches associated with redevelopment, transactions, or long-term liability management
• Interfacing with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to support permitting, compliance, and closure strategies
• Providing senior technical review of reports, designs, and modeling analyses to ensure defensibility and technical rigor
• Mentoring senior and mid-level staff and contributing to the development of technical standards, best practices, and thought leadership
• Contributing to business development through proposal support, technical scoping, and strengthening long-term client relationships

Requirements:

• M.S. or Ph.D. degree in environmental or civil engineering or related field
• P.E. license
• 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting
• Proven leadership on investigation/remediation projects as a strategic advisor to clients
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
• Strong organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers
