Software Engineer III

6sense is a company dedicated to driving growth, retention, and efficiency through innovative technology. As a Software Engineer III, you will design and build scalable backend systems for their AI-driven platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
• Build robust, reliable, and production-grade applications
• Contribute to the architecture and development of services, frameworks, and distributed systems
• Drive technical solutions and participate in system design discussions
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions
• Identify opportunities for improving system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend development focus
• Strong programming experience in Python and/or Java
• Experience building scalable APIs and backend systems
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable technical solutions
• Experience contributing to system design and architectural decisions
• Exposure to Golang and TypeScript
• Experience working in high-growth SaaS environments
• Experience with data platforms, analytics systems, or large-scale data processing environments
• Familiarity with building AI/ML-enabled products or platforms
