Dice is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide consulting and guidance to leaders and employees on performance management processes. The role involves collaborating with leaders to develop action plans, interpreting policies, conducting internal investigations, and ensuring resolutions to workplace issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provide consulting and guidance to leaders and employees on performance management process
- Collaborate with leaders in developing action/improvement plans to address performance gaps
- Interpret policies and procedures for specific situations
- Initiate collection of information and research for HR Managers, Directors, subject matter experts or the Law Department when a problem warrants an escalation due to complexity or sensitivity
- Collaborate with HR team and line of business clients to ensure root cause is identified for full resolution
- Follows-up with HR team and line of business clients to ensure solution is completed and problem has been addressed
- Conduct internal investigations in response to complaints - working directly with leaders and employees through interviews and information gathering - in support of workplace issue resolution process
- Summarizes event facts and analysis for review and submission to EEO Investigators, Law Department, HR and client
- May also perform HR Business Partner duties such as, senior leader advice and counsel, HR program delivery (succession planning, annual pay process, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 to 6 years of experience working in Human Resources, with 2+ years in an increasing responsible role as a lead or specialist
- Employee relations experience
- Experience as an HR business partner
- Labor Relations experience
- Experience in employees relations and conflict resolution
- Experience in diagnosing and resolving performance issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of California labor law and federal employment regulations
- Emphasis or Certification in Human Resources or Labor Relations
- Master in Business Administration or Labor Relations
- Experience working in a union environment
