Sr. Associate Software Development Engineer - Workday Everywhere

Workday is a Fortune 500 company and a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. They are seeking a Sr. Associate Software Development Engineer to build and ship end-to-end features for their Workday Everywhere team, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to ensure reliable systems as they scale.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with product management and engineering peers to thoroughly design, build, and test comprehensive product features
• Continuously testing, refactoring, and maintaining code
• Writing robust, maintainable code, and refactoring to ensure quality and efficiency
• Actively participating in code reviews

Requirements:

• 3+ years of work experience in Software Engineering
• 2+ years of work experience in both front-end and back-end engineering
• 1+ years of work experience in JavaScript and/or TypeScript code
• Ability to rapidly understand JavaScript/TypeScript code
• Proven track record of delivering production quality apps and features
• You believe in automation and have experience with building CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins/Github Actions
• You're a strong communicator that works well in a highly collaborative environment
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• A desire to think deeply about user experience and provide feedback on design and UX to create intuitive workflows
• Experience with the AWS ecosystem is a plus
• Experience developing with Microsoft Teams and/or Slack is a plus
• Familiarity building integrations or skills/actions for AI assistants or agentic platforms is a plus
