Senior Software Engineer II (Full Stack), Fieldwork Automation (Remote Pennsylvania)

Optro is the leading audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform on the market, having surpassed $300M ARR. They are seeking a highly motivated senior software engineer to lead complex projects, mentor other engineers, and design scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Build and ship product features end-to-end
• Ability to write clear and well defined design documentation
• Mentor fellow engineers
• Lead application architecture decisions
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software bugs
• Implement back-end APIs in Node.JS
• Work on our React, Vue, Ember SPA front-end
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers
• Participate in an Agile software development life cycle
• Write well-designed, maintainable & testable code
• Be product-minded and think about the customer
• Work with JavaScript, Node.JS, React, Python, Docker, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, etc

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience developing web based enterprise SaaS applications
• Experience guiding high quality work through delivery across multiple developers
• Experience with a modern front-end framework (React, Vue, Ember, etc.)
• Experience writing REST / JSON APIs (Swagger / OpenAPI Spec)
• Experience writing software tests
• Ability to solve technical problems independently
• B.S., M.S., or PhD. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Motivation to work hard and always be learning
